About the Program

What Is Community Housing?

Community Housing supports adults with developmental disabilities in residential homes located throughout Vernon. Residents receive assistance based on their individual needs, preferences, goals, and daily routines.

Each home offers a safe and inclusive environment where residents can develop daily living skills, participate in community life, and enjoy meaningful relationships.

Community Housing is one of several Venture Living programs designed to support independence, inclusion, and quality of life.

Accessible Homes

Welcoming residential environments designed to support comfort, accessibility, safety, and everyday living.

Person-Centred Support

Support is guided by each resident’s goals, abilities, choices, preferences, and routines.

Community Participation
